Stories that trees tell

Just Listen Harder

If you follow me on instagram (@Sogiesnuggle) you would have noticed few of these pictures. The tree in front of my room is the muse for this post,  an afternoon spent studying it made me realise a few things that can be related to our everyday lives.
Roots matter
Never forget and abandon your roots ; where you are coming from, the people who stood for and by you. Your struggles and pain make you who you are.
The Branches
Our branches ; family, loved ones and friends build us up. Experiences we have all build our characters and help form our identity.
Branches push and hold us up

Embrace your weirdness
Standout, be unique. Don’t conform to the society and people’s views and opinions.
Normal is overrated.

Don’t be afraid to let go
There’s always a time to let it go; it gets to a point in life when people and projects are no longer going to be a perfect fit for you. There’s no longer value being added to your life, if it’s more hurt /pain than joy it’s time to let go.
Is it going to hurt? Hell yea but in the end it’s going to be worth it.

Season for everything
There’s a time to work and labour and there’s a time to enjoy your fruits.
Work hard now for better fruits later .
Work every night towards your dream.

You need a community
Life is an arena for networking. Surround yourself with like minded people, always be ready to expand your connections.
Be ready to lift people whenever you can, the top is big enough for everyone.
The sky is big enough for your dreams. Dream big and always believe in yourself.
This is as much a gentle reminder of some valuable lessons for you as it is for me. Sometimes we need a nudge from the things around us.
Live the life you love.
Lots of love

Nice post. I like how you used the tree to illustrate how we ought to look at life.

    I love these pictures.
Old trees are a standing lesson and you did a great job of bringing them out.
