Dress code Decoded : White & black

Working with a dress code is always fun, I love to see how people manipulate it and shine through individually.
Long story short, the final year brethren (FYB) in my church were asked to come in white and black.

Begged and nagged  Cajoled my friend PG who is an illustrator if I may brag to join in the shoot. She did the art for this post and this post. You can also check out her work on Instagram @plicious_g.
Pg went with a black and white checkered jacket, white tank and black pants.
White and black with a pop of colour is tres chic and prevents you from looking bland.  Hence why the necklace works really well and adds to the look.

This palazzo pants  has been kept in locks and chains and thrown into the ocean till further notice, I can’t count how many times I immediately reach for it when I’m dressing up, I’ve decided to keep it in hibernation mode.
Black pants and white shirt is pretty basic and I’m not a big fan of basic so I added the bandana, a replica of this post .

Pop of colour and you are good to go, hence the purse which was a great find during my usual digging through my mum’s wardrobe. (In case you read this , thank you I’m just borrowing it…..for ever).

The shoot was really fun, not just because of my amazing comedic skills lol but it was cool to work with someone else. We definitely spent half of the time laughing. Definitely looking forward to more collaboration *yo let’s make some magic*

Digressing a little, it’s hard to find people that really care so major shoutout to PG for really being there for me , remember I talked bout how I’ve been fairing in the last post and she’s been of really great help. (Don’t worry I know you’ve been wanting to ask I would be your chief bridesmaid when the time comes lol.)
Apologies on the lack of posts , just have a really full plate right now. Anyho If you have a guest post idea/ideas just lemme know.
Style formula ;
Me= Shirt + pants+ bandana + purse + flats
Pg = blazer+ tank+ pants+ necklace + purse + flats
Lots of love,
