The blogger point brunch

diva diaries, blogger point brunch, TBP bloggers brunch
 All the deets

During my time in Lagos i got to attend the bloggers brunch organized by blogger point a networking platform with the aim of connecting bloggers with brands and as i mentioned in this post i’m gonna be spilling all the deets (that’s still short for details right?).

P.S: Fasten your seat belt, picture overload. Pictures taken by me except the ones with credit below em.
I got there quite early because i’m an early bird there was a closing time for the doors lol (i doubt that happened though, did it?). The venue was Due by Chef Dish victoria island and i’ve to say i was quite impressed with the decor, so artsy.

The event started off with people chatting and getting to know each other, i finally got to meet bloggers i already followed and also met some new ones.  Putting a personality behind the faces of the blogs and instagram pages was definitely fun for me.
Then the wine reception  (aka take a glass of wine and drink lol) and speech by the founder of blogger point and a little icebreaker activity that was actually fun.
The special guest was Noble Igwe and he’s way cooler in person, he shared his success story and dropped some knowledge for us.

It was a fun event everyone was chilling (still a word right?) getting to know each other, taking pictures and making mental blog posts i’m sure. Quite sad male bloggers were definitely missing in action.

The event went well although some items in the program were left out, the activity , VIP guest Q&A and the team Q&A in particular (do correct me if i’m wrong tho) and i was quite excited for them.
Also the food chops wasn’t something to write about in my opinion, was quite disappointed with it. It might be i’m quite local for them but it was just too fancy. I remember seeing slice of cucumber, with a slice of tomato and egg so you get the gist.

If you still haven’t guessed, the theme of the event was floral and everyone looked splashy.  Congrats to the bloggers that got awarded *kisses*.
All in all it was a fun event and everyone went home with a smile, contacts, something to instagram/blog about and a goody bag and also a picture in front of this beautiful mirror (that i won’t have minded taking home at all).

Congrats to the blogger point team, definitely a step in the right direction.

Hope this post is as “ASAP” as it can get.
Lot of love

Your review is one of the most detailed I've seen. Good thing you listened to your Dad! It looked fun, but everyone seems to have complained about the food!
