Happy new month fam, this year has an Olympics of its own (can you tell I’m excited bout Rio 216) I’m baffled.
You know I love you plenty right, really appreciate all the love on the last post.
*Beat the drum* Well guys I’m pleased to announce the first blog collaboration and with the lovely Cece of On Cedar planet I can tell you first hand she’s a jar of fun.
I’m a big fan of collaborations between bloggers but I’ve been letting distance and location be a barrier but not any more. If you have any idea or would love to collaborate definitely let me know… let’s make magic.
Theme for the collaboration? Well there was none as you can see the great contrast lol.
Met up with Cece when I went for a friend’s convocation in her school, she wasn’t sure if she was gonna be around so no theme was made. We just met up and decided why not ?
I was quite surprised with how opposites we went for the day lol. Fam I went all vintage and she was the African queen.
I love the way she mixed two different prints and guys she sews, mad skills.. Find out more details bout her look on her blog here
Fam bout my look, what do you think? This jumpsuit was a major find, I thrifted it a while back, can’t remember the price but I doubt it was up to 1k and I was quite skeptical bout it but it definitely worked out. Asked someone by me and she said it was a total no no , wish I could show her now.
Tip of the day : Wearing a shirt under a sleeveless dress , jumpsuit can do no harm and is worth the try.
The first thing that caught my eye was the palazzo bottoms of the jumpsuit and then the colour.
White shirt , hat and heels I was good to go and let’s not forget the shoelace tied on my neck (wink wink)
Shout out to my friend Taiye for the amazing pictures, they are too dope. We should hang out more often boo.
What do you think of the look? Would you love to see more collaborations? Do stay tuned, good stuff happening this month.
