Christmas Look : Black × Gold

Tis the season

In the last post i mentioned in less than 3 weeks it would be a new year; make that in less than 2 weeks. 2016 has gone by so fast but no worries cos 2017 has great things in stock for us, Amen somebody.
Remember when Christmas clothes was a big deal? You couldn’t wait to wear your new clothes and go visiting or whatever the heck you did. Good times

statement top with gold purse

Am i the only that feels it gets less christmassy each year? Well i still spend my Christmas pretty much the same way, watching tv and eating. Christmas has never been a big deal in my house, so i can’t relate to people who stay up all night in the kitchen cooking for Africa. It’s really no different from every other day to me. Hopefully this year someone would invite me out? How do you spend Christmas?
People used to take Christmas personal but now its just blah…

Outfit ideas for Christmas
So in this post i mentioned shooting some festive looks and your response definitely got me pumped. Hopefully i’m able to shoot all the looks i planned.
Until you sort through your stuff you won’t know what you really have that’s why i totally recommend you check out this easy steps to help you get wardrobe-ready for the new year here
green shimmery top and black skater skirt
outfit idea for the festive season.
Got this top as a gift, the same time i got this floral bomber and if you recall it wasn’t love at first sight. Picked it up recently and the first thing that came to mind was Christmas and i knew i had to wear it. Paired it with my black skater skirt and gold accessories.
kept it minimal cos i didn’t want to take the attention from the top at all.
This look is definitely appropriate for any festive outing right now (office party, dinner even church service lol) it gives the Christmas vibes without rubbing it in our faces.

this look is simple, chic and definitely festive. I love how cool it is and not all "glam glam in our face" type (the ones I'm used to LOL).

Don't mind those people cooking for Africa oh. For me as I get older, Christmas feels more and more like any other day. I'll be at home eating rice and stew as usual, just with more meat and just hoping too many people don't come to dusturb. I like the simplicity of this look and its definitely very versatile for the holiday season. Me I need new friends so I can be getting fine fine gifts like you guys. Looking forward to the other looks.

I won't mind them at all, there's no Christmas vibe at all this year. Hopefully i see chicken to eat oh, this one that i couldn't find to buy today. Everywhere is so tight.
Girl i need new friends too oh, this was a gift from my aunt.
      Thanks for stopping by love

I love this look! So simple and chic. I spend Christmas day eating plenty of meat, watching movies/series and sleeping. No time for visitors and outings till 26th or 27th.

I love the metallic sweater. It's so festive and chic. I would so love to wear this. Christmas used to be a gigantic deal in my family. We go all out on decorations and parties. Then we stopped the parties and switched to a family buffet because we LOVE food. I love the food part but I hate the decorations. Never liked them. Never would. Sometimes the decorations stay up till April because no one wants to take them out. Lol. Happy Christmas by the way. XOXO
