7 Ankara Styles You Need in Your Closet |Inspired by your favorite fashion blogger

Ankara Styles you need in your closet now

Thinking of which Ankara styles to make next? Tired of scouring google images without finding any style you’d like to make? Well, you should meet Jennifer. Jennifer’s love for prints and Ankara pieces knows no bound

In her words”The only time I got Ankara as a child was Christmas/New year and it was something I always looked forward to it because I would get the chance to go to the tailor and choose my own style. I absolutely loved it. Ankara makes me genuinely happy especially the vibrant colors”

Her love for prints is one thing but I’m much more in awe of the styles she makes, I always bookmark it in my why don’t I have thatย  Ankara styles inspiration folder which is still just a folder cos I’ve not found “THE TAILOR yet”.

Yes THE TAILOR, when it comes to getting a goodย great end product with your materials you just can’t have any tailor, you need someone; who can deliver within your time frame, who would actually present you with the style you gave to them not the caricature of it so yes you need “THE TAILOR”

Jennifer has “THE TAILOR” and she’s so kind to share some tips on finding one with us.

  • Ask to see a portfolio; instagram page or images of outfits they’ve made that should help you gage what they can and cannot do.
  • Look for someone who can understand your style (s) because some tailors are good but can’t understand their customers.
